Fresh off his Charlotte win, Dallas Glenn grabs first career Pro Stock No. 1 qualifier

BAYTOWN, Tex. (May 22, 2021) – After two rounds of qualifying, Dallas Glenn captured his first career Pro Stock No. 1 qualifying position at the 34th annual NHRA SpringNationals in his RAD Torque Systems/KB Racing Chevrolet Camaro.

In the first session, Glenn turned heads with a stout 6.549-second pass at 210.01 mph which sailed him to the No. 1 qualifying spot and nabbed his red, black, and white team three bonus points for being

quickest of the session.

Managing to get in a second qualifying round before impeding weather came in, Glenn and his Rob Downing and Dave Connolly-led team crossed the finish line with a comparable 6.565, 208.65.

“It just proves how great this RAD Torque/KB Racing car is,” Glenn smiled at the top end. “Rob Downing and Dave Connolly have been working real hard on my car. We’ve still got Jason Line here with us this weekend helping with the tuning. It’s incredible - I go from not starting in the top half of the field a few races ago to qualifying No. 1 today. I just can’t thank RAD Torque Systems for stepping up for the rest of the season and I’m just so excited. I’m ready to race.”

From the No. 1 spot, Glenn will take on Christian Cuadra in the first round of eliminations scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.
