Chris McGaha Welcomes Neuralog On Board for Second Year in Houston
ODESSA, Tex. (April 18, 2017) – Harlow Sammons Pro Stock driver Chris McGaha is headed to the fifth event of the season at Royal Purple Raceway for the 30th annual NHRA SpringNationals. Similar to last season, McGaha welcomes Neuralog as a sponsor on his Chevrolet Camaro this weekend. “I’ve got some family ties to Neuralog; my cousin works for them,” McGaha said. “It’s a family-type deal and that’s how this all happened. They’re in the oil industry like we are and we love having them on board with our Harlow Sammons team when we come to Houston.”
The Odessa, Texas-native found substantial horsepower at the last event in Las Vegas and is ready to take it “home” on his quest for his first victory of the season. “Houston is kind of a second home race for us,” he added. “It’s a little further than Dallas but we’ve been racing in Houston since our Comp Eliminator days. The hard-core Texas NHRA fans that go to the Dallas race sometimes adventure down to Houston and we love to meet all of them.” Qualifying at the 30th annual NHRA SpringNationals begins on Friday, April 21, with two sessions at 4:30 and 7:00 p.m. Two more qualifying sessions will be on Saturday, April 22, at 1:30 and 4:00 p.m. Eliminations begin on Sunday, April 23, at 11:00 a.m. starting with Top Fuel.
