Deric Kramer Seizes Opportunity and Grabs First Victory of the 2019 Season at Route 66 Raceway

JOLIET, Ill. (June 2, 2019) – Deric Kramer powered his American Ethanol Chevrolet Camaro straight to the winner circle at Route 66 Raceway after defeating Rodger Brogdon, Matt Hartford, Alex Laughlin, and Erica Enders. Kramer came into eliminations at the NHRA Route 66 Nationals as the No. 6 qualifier. Kramer used a sizable starting line advantage over first round opponent Rodger Brogdon to turn on the win light with a 6.561-second pass at 210.44 mph. Brogdon experienced tire shake and coasted to a 11.655, 76.22. Second round, Kramer had lane choice over Matt Hartford. Both competitors had identical .029-second reaction times at the hit and then it was a battle of KB Racing horsepower
