(April 30, 2017) – Team Liberty Racing’s Cory Reed and Angelle Sampey fought it out with the best of them in Pro Stock Motorcycle in eliminations at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX DRAGWAY. First round, Reed and Sampey took on Andrew Hines and Hector Arana in their quad. Sampey’s 6.959-second pass at 192.96 mph and Hines’ 6.838, 195.11 finished in the top two and went onto the next round. McGaha began his quest to victory when he qualified No. 4 and had a first round matchup against No. 5 Jason Line, No. 12 Allen Johnson, and No. 13 Alan Prusiensky. (April 29, 2017) – Team Liberty Racing teammates Cory Reed and Angelle Sampey qualified both of their Victory Magnum motorcycles in the uber-competitive NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle class this weekend for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals. On Friday, team owner and rider Reed started the team out strong with a 6.928-second pass at 192.14 mph. Sampey had transmission trouble with her bike and she ran a 16.450, 25.68. In the Friday evening session, Sampey improved with a 10.155, 80.88 and Reed slowed to a 7.070, 158.56. (April 3, 2017) – For the third time this season, the NHRA Competition Eliminator racers competed for top honors at the 18th annual DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In the first round, Alan Ellis in A/AA came into raceday as the No. 1 seed. During first round eliminations, Ellis took out Ralph Van Paepeghem when Van Paepeghem turned on the red light.
